Dr. Alan Kreidstein
Owner/Dentist/Anesthesiologist
Dr. Alan Kreidstein obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Toronto in 1986 and completed a residency in Anesthesiology at Long Island Jewish Medical Centre in New York. He has been servicing the residents of durham region for the past fourteen years. Dr. Kreidstein provides patients the opportunity to have their dental treatment done under a general anesthetic or awake. This can include dental procedures ranging from root canal therapy to fillings, cleanings or crown and bridge work and extractions of broken down or impacted teeth. He is able to offer parents the alternative to have their childrens dental treatment done asleep and all in one visit. He is looking forward to helping the residents in durham region and the surrounding areas to achieve their dental goals and get that perfect smile!
Dr. Eun Kim (Maya)
Dentist/Anesthesiologist
Dr. Eun Kim completed her Bachelor of Health Science degree at University of Toronto in 2006. She then graduated from University of Toronto as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. She went on to complete a 3 year Dental Anesthesia residency at University of Toronto. Dr. Kim provides dental care ranging from fillings to root canal treatment, crowns and extractions, under Deep Sedation or General Anesthesia. Dr. Kim is an active member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists. Dr. Kim enjoys spending her free time with family and friends.
Ashley
Dental Assistant and Receptionist
Ashley graduated in 2003 with a Dental Assitant Diploma. Ashley joined our team 5 years ago. She has experience in all aspects of the dental field. She is a much needed and valuable team member at Durham Dental Anesthesia. She has a very warm and whitty personality and we all look forward to working with her for many years.
Vanessa
Level II Dental Assistant
Vanessa graduated in 2009 from her level II dental assisting program. Vanessa has been doing sedation dentistry since she graduated, she has a lot of experience with nervous patients young and old. Her kind, soft spoken and her comforting personality has made her a great addition to our practice since October 2018.
Ting-Ting
Level II Dental Assistant
Ting-Ting is the newest level II dental assistant to join our team in December 2018. Ting-Ting graduated her dental assisting program in 2017. Ting-Ting is fluent in Mandarin and English which is an asset to many of our paitents. She is quiet, caring and has a great way of making all patients feel welcome to our office.
Serena
Registered Nurse
Serena has been a valuable team member with Durham Dental Anesthesia since 2015. She has been nursing for over 20 years now both in Canada and the United States. She graduated nursing from Durham College and as well has an Operating Room Certificate from George Brown College. She has experience in Oral Surgery and Urgent Care and has her Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), PALS, BCLS Certificated and a Certificate in Phlebotomy. She is a very kind and passionate nurse and the patients here will find that she will help them to feel relaxed at their appointments.
Michelle
Registered Nurse
Michelle has been a wonderful addition to our office since October 2018. Michelle graduated in 1993 from Seneca College. Michelle has over 15 years of nursing experience in dental, she is familiar with all parts of the dental office and is happy to answer questions. Michelle has her ACLS, PALS, and BCLS certificates. Michelle is kind and caring and can make anyone feel comfortable and welocme.
Roberta
Registered Nurse
Roberta is the newest member to join our team in July 2019. Roberta has over 25 years of nursing experinece. You will find Roberta when you check into the office, and when you and your loved ones recover, in our recovery room. Roberta has many area of expertice in nursing and dental. She started out her career as a dental assistant, then went to Durham College and obtained her Registered nursing Diploma. With Roberta's years of Operating room experience, her kindness,caring, and calmness has a way of making all people feel welocme and comfortable while in the office. Roberta has her ACLS, PALS, and BCLS certificates. Roberta is bilingual and speaks Italian and English.
Isabelle
Registered Nurse
Isabelle is currently on maternity leave spending time with her beautiful family.
Isabelle works alongside Dr. Kim and has been a registered nurse for over 6 years with most of her experience working in obstetrics and pediatrics. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. The has also earned her Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certificate from the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Isabelle speaks three languages, has basic knowledge of American Sign Language, and loves working with children.
Laurie
Restorative Hygienist
Laurie graguated from Durham College Dental Hygeine program and then two years later graduated as a restorative Hygienis from George Brown.Laurie has over 30 years experience with sedation dentistry. Laurie has a passion for biking, and all her patients travel from near and far to see her. She is kind, caring and a tremendous asset to our office. Currently Laurie in our office on Tuesday and Wednesdays.
